IT’S GOOD TO BE BACK!!
Exciting week, exciting news!
that’s what happened for last couple of days. Finally I got my old 1TB hard drive back from Indo. Although was not 100% recovered, at least I got the important files back.
Visa has just been granted yesterday, another life for another year is very good! And finally all the meetings with all 3 stylists were finally done!
Anyway, those two photos were taken a year ago at Brighton beach. Thanks to Clara for letting me shooting her all day, even though I didn’t make any good shits.. I mean shots.. :D

THOUGTS?
I went out to Brighton beach again yesterday and it was (not) freezing.
I was thinking a lot about how take a proper photos of birds and I still couldn’t do it properly. I was running around while I’m shooting this, with a bit of smile, eating hotdog..and dramatically fall to the ground. Haha..
Actually, I’m preparing my self for one of the biggest photography competition in Australia this year and I think this is one of the photo that I’m going to submit for the competition. It wasn’t finish yet, but it’s getting there. Still need a lot of process especially for the prints.

THE CAPTAIN COOK’S COTTAGE
I went to Fitzroy Garden last week, and thought this cottage was boring but interesting to shoot.
It was actually a crappy assignment and at the end of the day I was satisfied with my HDR result.

KYA-KYA
Surabaya, Indonesia.
Kya-kya is a Hokkien dialect for “wandering around”. Most Hokkien people has their root from Amoy,Xiamen in China.
SAME OLD NEW
The first place that comes through my mind to take photo in 2012 was Kenjeran beach, Surabaya - Indonesia, which is just 15 minutes driving from my house at my hometown. I went to this same old place with same old weather and a little bit same old love when I met same old fisherman almost every year at the same date, January 1st, since 10 years ago.
With a pack of ciggies and a friendly gloomy wet weather always makes me pumped to take a lot of photos.
This is my first photo in 2012.

So.. I’ve been going back to my home town, Surabaya - Indonesia and it supposed to be a holiday, but a few friend called me to do a photo shoot for their properties.
Took me almost three hours to shoot this suite room of Sun City Hotel with a lot of speedlights, ironing and food.. :D.
